I have driven with this app in Italy, Denmark, Germany and Canada. In Europa it worked awesome. I Italy it would advice me if my route would take me through a restricted part of a city but it was up to me to keep my eyes open so not to drive into the restricted zone. I have just started to use it in Canada and it does not give me the same information as I got in Europe and therefore think the app is written mainly for there. It is a good stand-alone mapping system.
Use it in Europe and the US. Excellent navigation app.
On our September to October trip to Sicily, we had a Garmin, which proved to be of little value, and we had purchased CoPilot. It turned out to be absolutely essential for finding our way, particularly in towns with very confusing street patterns. The spoken directions were not always clear regarding which way to turn, but the map directions were usually excellent. It always knew exactly where we were, and it was fabulous not running up any data charges.
